The Americans’ time was 4:04.306, just shy of the world record of 4:04.242 set by Germany at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

They beat New Zealand in the final with a time of 4:04.927.

It was Dygert’s second Paris medal and the fourth of her career. She won bronze in the individual time trial on July 27 and now has three team pursuit medals: silver in 2016, bronze in 2021 and gold in 2024.
