London Jemison Named Top 40 in Class of 2025

Yesterday, On3 released its updated Top 150 basketball rankings for the class of 2025. AJ Dybantsa at No. 1 and Cameron Boozer at No. 2 maintained their top spots, but there were a significant number of changes after the first few names. Among the changes, 6-foot-8-inch winger London Jemison solidified her status as a clear top 50 prospect.

Jemison was ranked No. 40 by On3 and is currently ranked in the top 50 by On3, ESPN and 247Sports, but Rivals ranks her just outside the top 50 at No. 51.

Jemison remains underrated, though. She has good size and length for a wing player, and she shot the ball well in her last Nike EYBL season with the Expressions Elite, hitting 36.9 percent on 3-pointers on 5.8 attempts per game.

He’s also a skilled driver at 6 feet 8 inches who is especially good at driving off the catch against a closeout. Few have matched his combination of driving volume and efficiency in the EYBL 17U.

In addition to this offensive profile, Jemison is an excellent event creator, averaging 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. This intersection of length, shooting, driving, and defense is the makings of a great modern forward. She has her flaws, especially her avoidance of contact on drives, but the foundation of her profile screams future pro.

Jemison will finish her high school career as a senior at St. Thomas More next year before heading to college. She recently narrowed her list to 6 schools — Kansas, Alabama, Syracuse, Virginia, Vanderbilt and Louisville, as first reported Joe Tipton On3. They also had visits scheduled to every school except Syracuse.

He would fit the mold of a one-and-done two-way winger with ball skills in recent years, with Kansas taking Gradey Dick (13th overall pick) in 2023, Johnny Furphy (35th overall pick) in 2024, and even Christian Braun (21st overall pick) in 2022, despite being a three-year college player. However, the other five schools are all outstanding Division I programs. Whichever college takes him will be getting a very talented, modern forward.
