India vs Zimbabwe Live Score, IND vs ZIM 4th T20I: Team India captain Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bowl first against Zimbabwe. India gave the debut to young Mumbai pacer Tushar Deshpande. Shubman Gill and his team will look to seal the series when they face hosts Zimbabwe in the fourth T20I at the Harare Sports Club, Harare. After losing the opening match of the series, India made a good comeback by winning the next two matches to cement their authority over the hosts. The batsmen came out hard in the last two matches to take the game from Zimbabwe, while the bowlers have been clinical so far in the series.

Skipper Shubman also regained some form with a knock of 66 in the last match, where he showed his class with some beautiful strokes all over the park. Meanwhile, Ruturaj Gaikwad showed consistency with a couple of crucial knocks – he also proved his mettle in the middle-order with a knock of 49 in the third T20I. Yashasvi Jaiswal also looked in good form on his return to the team after celebrating the T20 World Cup victory at home. Abhishek Sharma is another batsman who showed some promise with a century in the second T20I, where he stunned the Zimbabwe bowlers with his six-hit prowess.

India will no longer have the services of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the ultra-shortened version and Yashasvi Jaiswal is the favourite candidate to occupy one of those top-order slots.

With a tough knock against the African team tomorrow, Abhishek will hope to further stake his claim for the other vacant top-order position where other strong candidates like Shubman Gill and Ruturaj Gaikwad are located.

The Indian management will also be happy with their bowlers being taken out of the game, especially as leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi’s googlies were incomprehensible to the home team players.

Bishnoi has six wickets, similar numbers to Washington and the speedster Avesh Khan, who has proved to be an agile customer in this series.

Washington Sundar became the go-to player for skipper Gill, especially after the powerplay. In the middle overs, he varied his pace and came away with five wickets, giving away runs at an economy of just 4.60.

Mukesh Kumar may replace left-arm fast bowler Avesh Khan, who was rested in the previous match, but the fast bowler will want to be more economical despite taking four wickets.

Zimbabwe are aiming to give trouble to the Indian team in the series with their star player Blessing Muzarabani.

The 27-year-old pacer boasts of his pace and consistency in his four overs and has claimed four scalps in three matches, posting an economy rate of 6.00, the best achieved by a pacer in either team.

In addition to Zimbabwe’s problems with the bat, their erroneous play on the field throughout the series also added to their woes.

This became evident when the home team lost four catches in the second T20I and another three in the third T20I. There were also a few half-chances and fielding errors which put them in a difficult situation.
