HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Two Hershey natives are heading to Paris to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Maddie Zimmer and Jenny Rizzo were selected to compete on the Team USA Women’s Hockey team last month. Zimmer, a Northwestern University graduate, will join Rizzo, a Penn State graduate, to represent the United States in the 2024 Olympics.

In a Facebook post by Kendra Roy Daub, Zimmer and Rizzo are seen wearing T-shirts depicting Daub’s cat adoption gallop, Cocoa Kitties. The post says that Zimmer and Rizzo are big cat lovers who adopted Cocoa Kitties and that another owner named their cat after them.

The USA will play their first match in the group stage against Argentina on July 27 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
