4-star SG Braylon Mullins makes official visit

As the rebuilding process begins in Ann Arbor, Michigan men’s basketball coach Dusty May has been actively recruiting players since the completion of the process of rebuilding the 2024-25 roster with the Wolverines.

Sept. 7 would be a great weekend for Mullins to visit Ann Arbor, which will be very busy Saturday when the football team hosts the Texas Longhorns at the Big House. There’s a good chance Mullins will be at the game.

According to 247Sports’ Composite rankings, Mullins is considered the No. 74 overall prospect, No. 13 shooting guard and No. 5 player in the state of Indiana in the 2025 recruiting class. The 6-foot-5-inch, 180-pound wideout has really gained momentum in his recruiting since receiving an offer from Michigan on May 1. Since then, Mullins has received scholarship offers from 14 other schools and has 31 total offers from NCAA Div. I programs.

May and the Wolverines are still searching for their first commitment in the 2025 class, but Michigan is in a good spot with Mullins and several other potential players. Five-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy point guard Darius Acuff Jr. recently included UM on its ‘Best Four’ list, while the four-star Washington (DC) Sidwell Friends combo guard Academia Lewis He put the Wolverines in his ‘Best Eight.’ Michigan also expects a visit from five-star Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary’s combo guard Trey McKinney and four-star Davison (NC) Day combine point guard Isaiah Denis on the weekend of September 21.
