After three group games, the men’s basketball tournament of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games has reached the quarterfinal round. Eight teams are competing for the gold medal: Team USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Brazil, Serbia and Greece/South Sudan.

Team USA once again continued its dominant streak at the Olympic Games in Paris. A 110-84 win over Serbia set the tone for group play, followed by a 103-86 victory over South Sudan and a (score) victory over Puerto Rico to secure an undefeated streak in Group C.

The other two teams are undefeated in group play: Canada (Group A) and Germany/France (Group B), and they appear to be Team USA’s biggest threats to advance to the knockout stage of the tournament.
