Tiger Woods-backed entertainment venue makes SA debut

SAN ANTONIO – PopStroke Entertainment Group, a Florida-based company that has partnered with Tiger Woods, is nearing completion of construction on a multimillion-dollar golf-themed venue in northwest San Antonio, with company officials confirming the planned opening is set for this fall.

Work on the project continues on a roughly 3.3-acre site along Presidio Parkway near Interstate 10 and Loop 1604 in the Landmark development area.

PopStroke venues typically feature two 18-hole miniature golf courses inspired by Woods and the TGR Ventures team, each also featuring a full-service restaurant, bar and entertainment area.

The company has a particularly strong presence in the southeast, with locations in Alabama, Florida and South Carolina, but also has properties in Texas, Arizona and Nevada.

PopStroke opened a location in The Colony in North Texas in the spring and broke ground on another in College Station in recent months.

“The Landmark location was an ideal fit for PopStroke’s expansion because of its high traffic and strategic location,” Dylana Silver-O’Brien, the company’s vice president of marketing, told me.
