The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Atlanta Braves 10-0 on Tuesday night to improve to 63-49 on the year. The Brewers, one of baseball’s best stories, lead the National League Central despite major losses in their starting rotation.

In the win, Collin Rea pitched 7.0 shutout innings and had nine strikeouts. He is now 10-3 on the year with a 3.38 ERA. He has allowed just five hits.

Offensively, the Brewers had 16 hits, with six players posting multi-hit efforts. Willy Adames led the way with a 4-for-5 performance with two home runs and four RBIs. He now has 19 home runs and 75 RBIs on the season.

Adames is in his seventh year with the Tampa Bay Rays and Brewers. A native of the Dominican Republic, he has a .248 career batting average and is batting .252 this season. Given his power production, he will be one of the most coveted free agents on the market this offseason. At 28 years old, he should be looking at a lucrative multi-year deal in free agency.

The Brewers and Braves will meet again on Wednesday night, with first pitching at 7:20 PM ET. Freddy Peralta (MIL) will pitch against Chris Sale (ATL).
