Blake Snell’s San Francisco Giants teammates couldn’t stand the fact that they threw ice water on the pitcher in celebration during his postgame interview with NBC Sports Bay Area after his first career no-hitter.

Snell’s cold showers of ice cubes from pitchers like Logan Webb and Kyle Harrison were accompanied by a blow to the head with a cooler.

“Hey, hey, it’s cold. I need to catch my breath,” Snell said after the ice shower. “Watch the replay of this! That’s it – you don’t do that. They hit me over the head with the goddamned lid!”
