Women’s Tennis Wins ITA Academic Awards

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – The Duquesne University women’s tennis team was recognized with ITA All-Academic Team honors, with seven Dukes earning ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced. This is the eighth consecutive year the team has received the award.

To be named to the ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team GPA of 3.2 or better when all letter winners are included in the cumulative GPA for the current academic year. ITA Scholar-Athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 or better for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.

Overall, the Dukes as a team posted a 3.69 GPA for the calendar year, with seven players achieving ITA Scholar-Athlete status.
