PGA Tour pro smashes bunker in epic fashion at Olympic Golf Tournament

In the second round of the Olympic Golf Competition at Le Golf National in Paris, Emiliano Grillo completely lost his cool in the greenside bunker of the 10th hole.

Grillo, 31, opened the Olympic Golf Tournament in bright fashion with a 5-under 66 on Thursday.

But things took a turn in the second round when Grillo converted after making an early birdie on the par-5 3rd hole.

The two-time PGA Tour champion made a bogey on the par-5 9th hole before immediately taking his disappointment to the next hole.

Grillo lost his head on a bend

Especially when he leaves his approach shot short in the greenside bunker.

Grillo stepped onto the sand and shuffled his feet.

He then caught too many balls, leaving himself 35 feet for par.

But before the ball could even land, Grillo took it four big hits in the sand.

If you remember, it had Sergio Garcia vibes from the 2019 Saudi Arabia International Cup.

Many fans have taken to social media to point out that the Argentinian is known as ‘Grumpy Grillo’ on tour.

Grillo then made bogey by two strokes and carried his frustration into the rest of the back nine holes.

The player, who made bogey on three consecutive holes on the 12th hole, calmed things down by making birdie on the 15th hole.
