The Detroit Tigers today unveiled designs and details for their new luxury Home Plate Club at Comerica Park, which is expected to open in time for the 2025 baseball season.

According to club executives, the new premium seats directly behind the home plate will be ready on Opening Day, but the new club area under the stands will likely take longer to be completed.

First announced in June, the new premiere package will include luxury seating behind home plate, access to the Home Plate Club offering carefully curated amenities and luxuries, a master feature bar, a diverse culinary experience, private restrooms and VIP parking.

The images showcase intricate design features, elegant architecture and luxurious craftsmanship that reflect Detroit’s past, present and future.

Home Plate Club members will be able to choose from a rotating menu of small, prepared dishes featuring local ingredients and gourmet twists on classic stadium dishes. The menu will feature small plates of sushi and charcuterie, as well as customizable desserts. The team says guests will experience “an upscale restaurant experience with all the traditional stadium fare in the comfort of Comerica Park.”

Meals can be enjoyed in the club’s large dining room before or after matches, or in stadium seating during matches.

Construction work, which includes digging up soil from beneath the stands to make way for the high-ceilinged club, removing the grounds crew’s access tunnel just behind the main pitch and installing new seating, will begin once the current season has concluded.

Another feature fans can look forward to in 2025 is the brand new Loge Boxes located in the lower level of Comerica Park, between first and third base. Along with access to the Home Plate Club and all the same perks, the new loge boxes will offer fans a semi-private luxury seating and game viewing experience. A privacy wall will partially enclose the seating sections and provide additional comfort directly in front of each seat.

“The announcement of our Home Plate Club and Loge Boxes showcases our organization’s continued commitment to providing a world-class fan and player experience,” said Ryan Gustafson, president and CEO of Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, a division of Ilitch Cos. in Detroit.

“Our goal is to continue to invest in and create a variety of best-in-class experiences for all fans. Adding dedicated, premium seating options is feedback we hear repeatedly, and we’re excited to announce these exciting upgrades throughout the 2025 season.”

The Tigers are also renovating the visitors’ weight room and other clubhouse areas, as well as the umpire’s lounge, as part of construction around the Home Plate Club.
