India vs Nepal Live Score, Women’s Asia Cup 2024: India’s interim captain Smriti Mandhana elected to bat and drew the toss against Nepal in the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium on Tuesday.

While the Indian team is yet to be defeated in the ongoing tournament, Nepal will be looking to bounce back from their previous defeat against Pakistan. While India are just a step away from advancing to the semi-finals, Nepal need a win to keep their hopes of making it to the last four alive.

After winning the toss, Smriti Mandhana said that Harmanpreet Kaur has been rested for the game and added, “We want to bat first today. T20 cricket has changed in the last few years. It’s a collective effort, we have tried to take on everything that is in our range. The outfields are fast, the tracks are flat, sometimes even 200 is not enough. We will trust our process and try to bat. 180 will be great, it’s about playing one ball at a time. Harman and Deepti are rested.”

“We are ready for both. We have youngsters who want to participate in the competition. We are ready for every challenge, we are trying to give our 100 percent. We have two changes,” Nepal captain Indu Barma said during the draw.
