John Wesley College were crowned winners of the Southern Region Under 19 Cricket Competition.

This was after they beat Nabua Secondary School by 67 points at Albert Park in Suva in the afternoon.

In the semi-finals, Nabua beat Suva Grammar School by three points, while John Wesley beat Ratu Kadavulevu School by 126 points.

John Wesley will be entering the National Championship as the winner of the Western Region and the first of the three maritime schools.

The National U19 Cricket Tournament will be held on the 27th-30th of this month at the Albert Park in Suva.
