Rustenburg – On Saturday, July 27, 2024, the first team of Sibanye-Stillwater SAPGM Rugby Club achieved a crushing 52-17 victory over Welkom Rovers in the semi-finals, while the second team prevailed 26-8 over CASMAR Impala’s second team.

This Saturday, August 3, 2024, both teams will compete in the Presidents League finals at the Olën Park Stadium in Potchefstroom. The first team will face Welkom Rugby Club and the second team will face Klerksdorp Rugby Club.

Head coach Joel Scherman expressed his pride in the club’s success, saying, “For our club to have both teams in the finals is a great achievement in terms of presenting a healthy and strong program.”
