JAMESTOWN — The final two baseball tournaments of the summer at Jack Brown Stadium will begin in the next two weeks.

On Thursday, Aug. 8, Valley City will face Tarnos to kick off the Class AA North Dakota State Amateur Baseball Tournament at 5 p.m. Tolna will next face Enderlin at 7 p.m.

The championship match of the AA tournament will be played on Sunday, August 11 at 16:00.

The other local tournament taking place is the Class AAA North Dakota State Amateur Tournament. The first game of that tournament will be on Thursday, August 15th at 5:00 p.m. when the Casselton Catfish take on the Mayville Redcaps. The first game between the local teams will be on August 15th at 7:00 p.m. when the Jamestown Elks take on Tolna.
